The forthcoming week in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and various regions of Pakistan is anticipated to witness a gradual uptick in daytime temperatures owing to persistent dry weather conditions. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air masses are prevailing across most parts of the country.

This prevailing weather scenario indicates predominantly hot and arid conditions across the majority of areas starting from Monday evening and extending over the subsequent two days. However, certain isolated areas in Gilgit-Baltistan may experience partly cloudy weather with light rain-thunderstorm activity. With no significant precipitation events anticipated, plain areas can expect a gradual escalation in daytime temperatures.

In Islamabad, maximum temperatures are projected to range between 35-37 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, followed by 36-38 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. Similarly, Rawalpindi is expected to witness maximum temperatures ranging between 35-37 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, with a slight increase to 36-38 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.

Over the past 24 hours, hot and dry weather has prevailed over much of the country, with Dalbandin receiving 02 mm of rainfall. Nawabshah, Mohenjo-Daro, and Jacobabad registered the highest temperatures nationwide, peaking at 43 degrees Celsius.

In Islamabad, the maximum temperature was recorded at 34 degrees Celsius, accompanied by a morning relative humidity of 56 percent. Meanwhile, Rawalpindi recorded a maximum temperature of 33 degrees Celsius, with a morning relative humidity of 40 percent.
